Nightlife in Miraflores, Peru! Miraflores is the place to be after the sun goes down. Plenty of flowers to see in Miraflores. Seriously, when its time to party head to the Plaza de las Pizzas also known as la calle de las pizzas. Here you will find everything from sit down restaurants to discotechs aka dance clubs. On the weekend this is the place to be and the clubs start getting packed around 12 midnight. On the weekdays the crowds are more of tourists but you can usually still find places that are jumping.
Recommended places to eat are Rustica (***) which is a nice place to go before heading into the clubs. Here you can enjoy a Pisco Sour or a cold Cusquena while feasting on you own Parilla (mini grill) or pasta and pizza. Prices are S./30 per person plus beverages. Atmosphere wins here with open air, flat screen tv’s and music.
Also, recommended at the other end is The Old Pub (***) which resembles an old english pub. here you can sit down to a cold draft and a nice steak or try the buffalo wings for a taste of the old U.S. of A. Prices are around S./25 or $10 USD per plate plus beverages.
Most nights we head straight to the Sabor Peruana Club (*****) located halfway down the calle de las pizzas and take the sidewalk. Here you will find the largest club in the area and usually the most popular. On week nights it can still draw a decent crowd, but as is the norm for Latin America, you will find that most people dont go out until around 12 midnight. On the weekend you will find more people. Good music includes house DJ playing Reggaeton, Rap and electronic dance music until 3 AM or later. On Saturdays there is a group cover charge of S./20 and includes a carafe of beer to share. Weekdays it depends usually no cover and sometimes a free mini pisco just to stop in and check it out. If your single be aware of the Putingas normally sitting at the end of the bar closest to the dance floor, they seem nice but usually charge for their services.
Next is Piropos (***1/2) located on the main calle de las pizzas. It is a smaller place with good music and decently priced drinks. It can get a little crowded on the weekends but during the week it just depends. They play Reggaeton and electronic dance music (very popular amongst the locals). Normally there is a cover on the weekends but not during the week.
